My favorite song is "Egypt, Egypt". It sounded different than anything I heard back in the 1980s. A great song that I still listen to today. Other songs I like are "You're So Fine", "Girls", "The Lover", and "The Alezby Inn". I also like his debut album On the Nile and his 2nd album One Track Mind.

Roxanne Shante is my favorite rapper of all time. She was only 14 years old when she recorded "Roxanne's Revenge". This is my favorite rap song ever. Other songs I like are "Have a Nice Day", "Feelin' Kinda Horny", "Yes Yes Y'all", and "Knockin' Hiney".

This album is from 1987 and is their first album. My favorites are "Megablast", "Yo! Bum Rush the Show", "Public Enemy No. 1", and "Rightstarter (Message to a Black Man)". A classic old school rap album.

This is the album that most everyone noticed the Beastie Boys. It is a big selling album. My favorites are "Brass Monkey", "Rhymin & Stealin", "No Sleep Till Brooklyn", "Fight for Your Right to Party", and "Hold It Now, Hit It".

My favorite song "Rapper's Delight" is one of the most popular rap songs ever. Some other songs I like are "8th Wonder" and "Apache".

This is a great album of 80s rap songs. My favorites are "Roxanne, Roxanne" by UTFO, "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang, "It's Like That" by Run DMC, "Jam On It" by Newcleus, and "Fat Boys" by The Fat Boys.

This is a classic old school rap album that was very popular in the 80s. My favorites are "I Ain't No Joke", "Paid in Full", "Chinese Arithmetic", and "I Know You Got Soul".

This album is from 1985. Mantronix had some classic beats to their songs. I like all seven songs on here but my favorite one is "Bassline". An album that should be heard by all old school fans.

This is his first album and was released in 1986. My favorite songs are "I Can't Live Without My Radio", "Dear Yvette", "Rock the Bells" and "I Need a Beat". A popular album that set LL for his future stardom.

The Definitive Groove Collection

I always liked Grandmaster Flash's style of rap. My favorite songs on this big collection are "Beat Street", "The Message", and "White Lines". Old school rap fans will love this.

Run-DMC - Raising Hell (Deluxe Expanded Edition)

This is new release of the 1986 album. Every song on here is just classic. I remember buying this on audio tape. This album got a lot of kids into rap music. I have no real favorites on here since I like all of these songs. This is probably the best rap album ever made in the 1980s.

This is a classic old school rap album from 1986. It is his first album. "Latoya" is one of my favorite old school rap songs. Other songs I like are "Gangster of Hip Hop", "Cold Gettin' Dumb", "Put the Record Back On". One of the best albums from the old school days.

MC Shan - Down By Law

This is great old school rap with 30 tracks on here. MC Shan was one of my favorite rappers in the 80s. "Beat Biter" is my favorite song. Some of the other songs I like are "The Bridge", "Down By Law", "M.C. Space", and "Living in the World of Hip Hop". Extended versions of songs and other mixes are also on here.

Salt 'N Pepa - Hot, Cool & Vicious

They were great 80s female rappers. This is their debut album from 1986 and is my favorite one. My favorite songs on here are "Push It", "Tramp", "I Desire", "I'll Take Your Man", and "The Showstopper".

Funky Beat: The Best of Whodini

Whodini was big in the 1980s. My favorite songs are "Big Mouth", "One Love", "Friends", "Five Minutes of Funk", "Haunted House of Rock", "Freaks Come Out At Night", and "Escape (I Need a Break)". "One Love" is a classic 80s rap love song.

Run DMC was big in the 1980s. My favorite song is "Rock Box". Other songs I like are "King of Rock", "It's Tricky", "Walk This Way", "Peter Piper", "You Be Illin'", "It's Like That", "My Adidas", and "You Talk Too Much". I also have their Raising Hell album listed on here. It is a classic 80s rap album.
